Medtronic Simplera sensor failed early: getting a replacement
A sensor lasts 6 days plus a 24-hour grace period. For one that fails early, Medtronic's Simplera Sync support page links to a replacement sensor order, and 24-Hour Technical Support in the US is 800 646 4633. (Medtronic; Medtronic user guide, p. 18)
What the maker says to do
- Have the sensor serial number ready.
- Order a replacement sensor from the link on Medtronic's Simplera Sync support page.
- Or call 24-Hour Technical Support at 1-800-646-4633.
Simplera (standalone) sends readings to the Simplera app on a phone; Simplera Sync pairs with the MiniMed 780G pump, and the MiniMed Mobile app is a secondary display for the pump.
