Terms of Service

Last updated 25 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Glide app and related services ("Glide", "the Service"). By creating an account or using Glide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Glide is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease, and it does not provide medical advice. Do not make treatment decisions based on Glide. Always confirm glucose values with your meter and consult your healthcare provider. See Not medical advice below.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Glide. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Glide only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. A parent or guardian may use Glide to monitor a child's glucose; the account belongs to the adult.

Your account

Connected data sources

Glide can retrieve glucose readings from a third‑party data source (for example, Dexcom) using credentials you provide. By connecting a source, you authorize Glide to access that data on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with that provider's own terms. Glide is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dexcom or any other data source or device manufacturer, and we are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or interruption of data those services provide.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Not medical advice

Glide is an informational and logging tool. It is not a medical device, is not FDA‑cleared, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a dedicated CGM receiver or alarm system. Readings shown in Glide may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, including because of issues with your data source, your device, connectivity, or notification delivery. Never rely on Glide — including its forecasts, alerts, or carb estimates — for urgent decisions or to detect or respond to hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. Always confirm with a fingerstick or approved device and consult a qualified healthcare professional.

AI carb estimates

When you choose it, Glide can estimate a meal's carbohydrates from a photo using a third‑party AI service. Estimates are approximate, may be wrong, and are provided for convenience only. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any estimate before relying on it. See the Privacy Policy for how photos are handled.

Privacy

Your use of Glide is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how it is used and shared. By using Glide you consent to those practices.

Availability & changes

Glide is provided on an ongoing best‑effort basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and the Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third‑party outages, or factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that readings or notifications will be delivered on time or at all.

Termination

You may stop using Glide and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service is no longer feasible. Sections intended to survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) continue to apply.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT DATA OR NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR DELIVERED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLIDE AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON READINGS, FORECASTS, ALERTS, OR ESTIMATES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO YOU.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glide and its operator from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws rules, except where mandatory consumer‑protection laws of your place of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non‑waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
