FreeStyle Libre 2 and 2 Plus sensor failed early: getting a replacement
If a Libre 2 Plus sensor fails or falls off before 15 days, Abbott reviews a replacement through its online sensor support request or by phone. (Abbott)
What the maker says to do
- Apply and start a new sensor.
- Have the old sensor's serial number ready.
- Fill in the sensor support request at freestyle.abbott/us-en/support/sensorsupportrequest.html, or call 855-632-8658.
In the US, Abbott's Libre app replaces the FreeStyle Libre 2 app for new sensors. LibreLinkUp alert settings for Libre 2 differ by the country of the wearer's LibreView account: the US list has no No Recent Data alert.
