Common questions

My glucose chart stopped updating

Glide reads your CGM data through Dexcom Share, so it stops when Dexcom does. Check, in order: the Dexcom app on the phone paired with the sensor is running and has data; Dexcom Share is turned on there; and your Dexcom password hasn't changed. If you changed it, re-enter it in Glide under Settings → Monitoring. Glide shows a banner on the home screen when it can't sign in to Dexcom.

I signed in but see no data

A brand-new account is empty by design. You either connect your own Dexcom account (Settings → Monitoring) or redeem an invite code from a family member who already has Glide set up. Invite codes are issued from their Settings → Followers and expire after one hour.

I'm not getting the sign-in code by email

Codes arrive within a minute or so. Check your spam folder, and make sure you entered the same address you signed up with. If it still doesn't arrive, email [email protected] from that address.

The nighttime call alarm didn't ring

The call alarm requires an active Glide Premium subscription, a phone number verified by SMS in Settings → Alerts, and the low threshold and night window configured there. Because phones silence unknown callers overnight, add the Glide number to your Contacts and set it as an Emergency Bypass contact — Settings → Alerts has a "Send a test call" button to confirm the whole path works.

Carb estimates from photos look wrong

They are estimates produced by an AI model and they can be wrong. Always review the number before logging or dosing. You can edit any estimate before saving it, or enter carbs by hand and skip the estimator entirely.

Subscription & billing

Glide Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store ($7.99/month or $59.99/year, with a two-week free trial for new subscribers). One subscription covers everyone following the same profile. Viewing your CGM data, logging events by hand, the on-device forecast, and standard notifications are free and stay free.

Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone — cancellation is handled by Apple, not by us. If you cancel during the trial you aren't charged. Refund requests also go through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Switched devices or Apple IDs and lost access? Tap Restore Purchases on the Glide paywall.

Account & data

You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. If you own the monitored profile, deleting your account also deletes that profile's glucose history and removes access for everyone following it. This cannot be undone.

What we collect and why is described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of the app is governed by the Terms of Service.

Safety

Glide is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease, and it does not provide medical advice. Do not make treatment decisions based on Glide — confirm glucose values with your meter and consult your healthcare provider. Glide's alerts are a convenience layered on top of your CGM; they are not a replacement for your CGM's own alarms, which you should keep enabled.
