CGM features and fixes · Medtronic Simplera
Medtronic Simplera follower not getting alerts
CareLink Connect only sends an alert type the follower has turned on, and only if the wearer also has that alert on. The app must not be force-closed and phone notifications must be on. (Medtronic; Medtronic user guide, p. 2)
What the maker says to do
- Make sure CareLink Connect is open, not force-closed.
- In the app, tap Edit, tap each alert category and choose the alerts to receive.
- Turn on notifications for CareLink Connect in phone settings.
- Ask the wearer to turn the same alert on in their device.
Simplera (standalone) sends readings to the Simplera app on a phone; Simplera Sync pairs with the MiniMed 780G pump, and the MiniMed Mobile app is a secondary display for the pump.
