Dexcom ONE+ sensor failed early: getting a replacement
Dexcom replaces a ONE+ sensor that fails before its 10-day life, without limit, when Tech Support confirms a product failure. Other early removals may get a courtesy replacement case by case. (Dexcom; Dexcom user guide, p. 63)
What the maker says to do
- Remove the sensor by peeling the patch from the edge.
- Insert and pair a new sensor.
- Find the sensor serial number.
- Contact Dexcom Tech Support as soon as possible.
Dexcom ONE+ is not sold in the US. All facts here come from Dexcom's UK and Ireland pages, the UK App Store listing and the outside-US English user guide (mmol/L). Dexcom says Share and Follow may not be available in all regions.
