Medtronic Simplera compatible phones
Medtronic keeps a search-by-device compatibility tool for its apps at minimed.com/en-us/products/device-compatibility; the apps also say on first launch if a phone cannot be used. Medtronic advises turning off automatic system updates until a new version is confirmed. (Medtronic; Medtronic user guide, p. 14)
What the maker says to do
- Search your phone model on Medtronic's device compatibility page.
- Turn off automatic operating system updates on the phone.
- Check the compatibility list before updating the phone's system.
Simplera (standalone) sends readings to the Simplera app on a phone; Simplera Sync pairs with the MiniMed 780G pump, and the MiniMed Mobile app is a secondary display for the pump.
