Medtrum TouchCare Nano CGM alarms not sounding
EasySense alerts need sound, notifications and background running. Medtrum tells you to keep Silent and Do Not Disturb off. (Medtrum UK user guide, p. 9; Medtrum UK user guide, p. 5)
What the maker says to do
- Turn Audio and Vibrate on in EasySense under General Settings, Audio Options.
- Turn Silent and Do Not Disturb off.
- Set the volume loud enough to hear alerts.
- Turn on notifications for EasySense.
- On iPhone, turn on Background App Refresh for EasySense.
The Nano CGM is not FDA-cleared and the EasySense and EasyFollow apps are not in the US App Store, so these answers come from Medtrum's international (WW) and UK English pages and guides.
A call when readings stop
Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
