CGM features and fixes · Dexcom ONE+
Dexcom ONE+ alarms not sounding
Glucose alerts are off until you turn them on, and they never override silent, vibrate or Do Not Disturb. Screen Time, Low Power Mode, Focus Mode and Battery Saver can also stop alerts. (Dexcom user guide, p. 7; Dexcom user guide, p. 42; Dexcom user guide, p. 10; Dexcom user guide, p. 61; Dexcom user guide, p. 11)
What the maker says to do
- Turn on the alerts in Profile > Alerts.
- Turn the phone sound on and the volume up.
- Turn off Screen Time limits and Low Power Mode (iPhone) or Focus Mode, App Pause and Battery Saver (Android) for the app.
- Allow Critical Alerts on iPhone.
- Check headphones, Bluetooth speakers and watches, which can take the alert.
Dexcom ONE+ is not sold in the US. All facts here come from Dexcom's UK and Ireland pages, the UK App Store listing and the outside-US English user guide (mmol/L). Dexcom says Share and Follow may not be available in all regions.
A call when readings stop
Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
