FreeStyle Libre 3 and 3 Plus follower not getting alerts

LibreLinkUp alerts are set per connection. A follower gets no glucose alarms if the wearer started the sensor with the reader instead of the app. (Abbott)

What the maker says to do

1. Open the connection's graph screen and tap the gear icon.
2. Turn on notifications for that connection.
3. Turn on notifications for LibreLinkUp in the phone's settings.
4. Turn off Do Not Disturb and Airplane Mode.
5. Ask the wearer to start the next sensor with the app.

In the US, Abbott's Libre app replaces the FreeStyle Libre 3 app, whose App Store listing says it is not the latest app.
