What this page checks
Glide's monitor sends a request to the LibreLinkUp server for US accounts and the one for European accounts. These are the servers Glide reads Libre readings from. A problem with one phone, one sensor or one mobile network does not show here.
LibreLinkUp is up, but LibreLinkUp shows no readings
LibreLinkUp shows No Recent Data when it has had no reading for 5 minutes. For Libre 3 the causes are no internet on the wearer's phone, no active sensor, signal loss, or a LibreView outage. (Abbott; App Store listing)
What the maker says to do:
- Make sure the wearer's phone has an internet connection.
- Make sure the wearer's app is not force closed.
- Check that the wearer has an active sensor and is not in signal loss.
- Make sure the follower's phone is online and not in Airplane Mode.
What followers get when readings stop
The Libre app's Signal Loss Alarm fires after 20 minutes without sensor data, and is on by default. In LibreLinkUp, a follower of a US Libre 3 wearer can turn on a No Recent Data alert and choose its time period. (Abbott)
Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
