FreeStyle Libre 3 and 3 Plus signal loss: what the maker says to do
Signal Loss shows after 5 minutes without data and the Signal Loss Alarm after 20 minutes. The Libre 3 range is 33 feet; after coming back into range, the connection can take 2 to 4 minutes to return. (Abbott)
What the maker says to do
- Keep the phone within 33 feet of the sensor.
- Wait 2 to 4 minutes after coming back into range.
- Turn Bluetooth off, then on.
- Restart the phone.
- Call Customer Care at 855-632-8658 if it continues.
In the US, Abbott's Libre app replaces the FreeStyle Libre 3 app, whose App Store listing says it is not the latest app.
A call when readings stop
Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
