FreeStyle Libre 2 and 2 Plus follower not getting alerts
LibreLinkUp alerts are set per connection. A follower gets no glucose alarms if the wearer started the sensor with the reader instead of the app. (Abbott)
What the maker says to do
- Open the connection's graph screen and tap the gear icon.
- Turn on notifications for that connection.
- Turn on notifications for LibreLinkUp in the phone's settings.
- Turn off Do Not Disturb and Airplane Mode.
- Ask the wearer to start the next sensor with the app.
In the US, Abbott's Libre app replaces the FreeStyle Libre 2 app for new sensors. LibreLinkUp alert settings for Libre 2 differ by the country of the wearer's LibreView account: the US list has no No Recent Data alert.
A call when readings stop
Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
