FreeStyle Libre 2 and 2 Plus signal loss: what the maker says to do
Signal Loss shows after 5 minutes without data and the Signal Loss Alarm after 20 minutes. The Libre 2 range is 20 feet. (Abbott)
What the maker says to do
- Keep the phone within 20 feet of the sensor.
- Scan the sensor.
- Turn Bluetooth off, then on.
- Restart the phone.
- Call Customer Service at 1-855-632-8658 if it shows again.
In the US, Abbott's Libre app replaces the FreeStyle Libre 2 app for new sensors. LibreLinkUp alert settings for Libre 2 differ by the country of the wearer's LibreView account: the US list has no No Recent Data alert.
A call when readings stop
Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
