Does the Dexcom G6 alert followers on signal loss?
What Dexcom G6’s own apps (Dexcom G6 app, Dexcom Follow) do, from the maker’s documents.
Yes
The G6 Signal Loss alert is on by default; you choose a wait of 20 to 200 minutes (longer in the app). Dexcom Follow shows 'Active - No Data' when the wearer gets no readings, and followers can turn on a No Data notification. (Dexcom user guide, p. 136; Dexcom user guide, p. 147; Dexcom user guide, p. 204; Dexcom user guide, p. 202)
With Glide
Yes
After 30 minutes without a reading (you can set 15 or more), every phone on the profile gets a lost signal banner. Overnight, in the hours you choose, Glide can also call a phone (Premium). (/dexcom)
