Does the Dexcom ONE+ alert followers on signal loss?
What Dexcom ONE+’s own apps (Dexcom ONE+ app, Dexcom Follow) do, from the maker’s documents.
Yes
The ONE+ app has an optional Signal Loss alert. It is off until you turn it on, and it sounds after about 20 minutes without readings. Followers can turn on a No Data notification in Dexcom Follow. (Dexcom user guide, p. 65; Dexcom user guide, p. 42; Dexcom user guide, p. 47)
Dexcom ONE+ is not sold in the US. All facts here come from Dexcom's UK and Ireland pages, the UK App Store listing and the outside-US English user guide (mmol/L). Dexcom says Share and Follow may not be available in all regions.
With Glide
Yes
After 30 minutes without a reading (you can set 15 or more), every phone on the profile gets a lost signal banner. Overnight, in the hours you choose, Glide can also call a phone (Premium). (/dexcom)
