Do Dexcom G7 alarms sound in Silent mode or a Focus?
What Dexcom G7’s own apps (Dexcom G7 app, Dexcom Follow) do, from the maker’s documents.
Partly
In the G7 app, the Urgent Low alert sounds even when the phone or watch is muted, unless you turn on Silence All (up to 6 hours). On iPhone the G7 app uses Critical Alerts, and alerts set to Sound override Do Not Disturb. In Dexcom Follow, Do Not Disturb silences all notifications. (Dexcom user guide, p. 13; Dexcom)
With Glide
Partly
Glide's banners are Time Sensitive: they can appear during a Focus that permits them, but do not bypass Silent. Its overnight call comes from a contact with Emergency Bypass on, which rings through Silent and Focus (Premium). (/lost-signal-call)
