Do Medtronic Simplera alarms sound in Silent mode or a Focus?
What Medtronic Simplera’s own apps (Simplera app, MiniMed Mobile app (Simplera Sync with MiniMed 780G), CareLink Connect) do, from the maker’s documents.
Partly
On iPhone the Simplera app uses Critical Alerts, and on Android it needs Do Not Disturb permission; if these are off it sends no alerts, not even Urgent Low. Mute alerts still vibrates for Urgent Low, and Max Volume at Night plays night low or high alerts at full volume. The CareLink Connect follower app says Do Not Disturb, Mute or Vibrate can stop you hearing its notifications. Simplera (standalone) sends readings to the Simplera app on a phone; Simplera Sync pairs with the MiniMed 780G pump, and the MiniMed Mobile app is a secondary display for the pump.
