Do Dexcom Stelo alarms sound in Silent mode or a Focus?

Stelo notifications follow the phone's settings. If the phone is on silent, they make no sound, and they do not override phone settings. (Stelo (Dexcom); Dexcom user guide, p. 45)

Stelo is sold over the counter in the US only. Dexcom says your primary residence and your Stelo account must be in the US.
