What this page checks

Glide's monitor sends a request to Medtrum's EasyView server for Europe and the one for France. These are the servers Glide reads Medtrum readings from. A problem with one phone, one sensor or one mobile network does not show here.

Medtrum EasyView is up, but EasyFollow shows no readings

EasyFollow shows data only after the wearer allows remote view, and only while both phones stay online with the apps running in the background. (Medtrum UK user guide, p. 9; Medtrum UK user guide, p. 5; Medtrum UK user guide, p. 7)

What the maker says to do:

  1. On the wearer's phone, allow remote view in EasySense under Settings, Account Security.
  2. Do not use low-battery mode on the wearer's phone, because EasySense then stops uploading in the background.
  3. On the follower's phone, allow EasyFollow to use Wi-Fi and mobile data.
  4. Keep EasyFollow open and running in the background.
  5. Open EasyFollow again after the phone restarts.

What followers get when readings stop

EasySense gives a LOST SENSOR alert, and the reading shows LOST when the signal has been lost for more than 10 minutes. EasyFollow gives followers a No Sensor Data reminder. (Medtrum UK user guide, p. 14; Medtrum UK user guide, p. 16)

Glide sends every phone on the profile a lost signal banner after 30 minutes without a reading, and overnight it can call a phone number you verify (Premium). How the lost-signal call works.
