FreeStyle Libre 3 and 3 Plus warm-up: how long it takes
Readings and alarms start 60 minutes after the sensor is started. The app sends a notification when the sensor is ready. (Abbott)
What the maker says to do
- Wait 60 minutes after starting the sensor.
- If Sensor ready in x minutes stays past the start-up period, use the sensor support request form.
In the US, Abbott's Libre app replaces the FreeStyle Libre 3 app, whose App Store listing says it is not the latest app.
