SIBIONICS GS1 sensor error
A Technical Alarm means the sensor failed and cannot be turned off. A loose sensor can give no readings or false lows. (SIBIONICS user guide, p. 36; SIBIONICS user guide, p. 48; SIBIONICS user guide, p. 46; SIBIONICS user guide, p. 10)
What the maker says to do
- Do a fingerstick test when there is no current glucose number.
- Check that the sensor has not come loose.
- If it has come loose, remove it and apply a new one; do not try to push it back in.
- Email [email protected] to report it.
The GS1 is not FDA-cleared and is not sold in the US; these answers come from SIBIONICS's EU/UK English user guide, its sibionicscgm.com pages and the UK App Store.
