Dexcom G7 compression lows
Pressure on the G7 sensor, for example lying on it, can affect readings. The sensor should recover once the pressure is gone; do not calibrate during it. (Dexcom user guide, p. 114; Dexcom user guide, p. 115; Dexcom)
What the maker says to do
- Move so nothing presses on the sensor.
- Do not calibrate while the reading may be off from pressure.
- Pick sites you do not lie on while sleeping.
